Pink Panic is the 26th Pink Panther episode produced in the Series.

Story[]

The Pink Panther stays in the haunted Dead Dog Hotel on a stormy night, where he attempts to escape a troublesome ghost and a sneaky skeleton running about the hotel. After a scuffle in the hotel that causes quite a ruckus, the local sheriff (The Little Man) is woken up, and arrives at the hotel to arrest all three of them. As the panther is led away at gunpoint, the ghost, skeleton, sheriff, and hotel fade away, revealed to be nothing more than a mirage.

In the Pink Panther comics from Western Publishing, there are 3 comic stories named Pink Panic. The first Pink Panic, in Pink Panther #2, is similar to this short as it involves an abandoned hotel and someone seeing ghosts. But the similarities end there.
The second Pink Panic in Pink Panther #15 is a take on Jonathan Swift's Gulliver so is completely unrelated.
The third Pink Panic in Pink Panther #45 has the Pink Panther inadvertently robbing a bank for a crook disguised as an old lady so is completely unrelated to this short.
